Sonja Lynne

Sonja's Blog

Having worked for several piano retailers and managed a number of wholesale sales teams, Sonja Lynne has a vast and tremendously diverse range of experience in the music products industry. She also co-founded a company that serves churches and individuals who utilize the Drawbar Organ sound.

She has received numerous sales awards in representing manufacturers such as Steinway, Yamaha, Kawai, Baldwin, Pearl River, Hammond, Roland, Young Chang, and more.

At Riverton, Sonja manages our Scottsdale store consults with piano clients, supports area institutions and organizes Riverton's busy concert piano rental clientele.

Sonja has a Master’s Degrees in Voice and Opera Singing. She loves to travel, sing, and spend time with friends and family.

Bob Shepheard

Bob's Blog

Searching for a career that would utilize his people skills, Bob Shepheard began working for a Virginia-based piano dealer at age 18. He was so enamored with the piano’s inner workings that he developed his technical skills and became an associate member of his local Piano Technician’s Guild. Over the years, Bob represented some of the most famous names in the Piano Industry, including Steinway & Sons, Yamaha, Kawai, Young Chang, Schimmel, Kurzweil and more. He has routinely won awards for outstanding sales and customer service… and – eventually – he came to own and operate his own stores in Virginia Beach, VA, and Orlando, Florida. At the end of 2022, Bob decided to give up his life on the East Coast and move to Arizona – where he enjoys sharing his passion for pianos at Riverton Piano Company Scottsdale.

In his personal life, Bob is an avid lover of watersports, including fishing, boating, and surfing.
